Winter Solstice Greetings
Claiming space and staying centered during transitory times.
Hello everyone :)
We are blessed with the beginning of a new cycle and a new season. This is one of the most potent times of the year because we are, all over the planet, celebrating the closing of this year and the start of a new one. And 2020 feels very impactful for a few reasons:
The political climate is changing, so in the wider view, we are witnessing the consciousness of the mainstream waking up and recognizing the need for true change and more conscious leadership.
There is the start of a new ‘chapter’ of energy being birthed that will start a new 4-year cycle. From 2016-2019 was a specific cycle of learning, and we are now initiating the next wave of consciousness.
We are preparing for some major shifts and new beginnings that will start to happen 4 years from now as 2024 will be the beginning of the ‘aquarian age’ in astrology. This time is about conscious leadership where power is collective, shared, and based on equality rather than hierarchical, patriarchal, and rooted in oppression as it has been.
So the times of transition, like the solstice, the new year, and the coming eclipses in December and January (which I will speak of momentarily) are portals in which we are able to create a new alignment for ourselves.
This time of year is truly magical when we are able to release old patterns and say yes to what we are calling in -- and draw to us a whole new iteration of who we wish to be.
Those who are reading this, we must recognize that we are all so profoundly blessed and privileged to be able to practice spirituality, however it resonates with our own highest nature. We are empowered to attune to the frequencies of higher consciousness --- and bring healthy shifts of healing and divine presence directly into our lives.
The way that we do this is through anchoring and meditation, and to manifest our intentions is through ritual and prayer. Just speaking or writing your desires in a way that creates meaning for you. You can burn a candle or make a collage -- just create your own personal practice that allows you to spend time with you. And therefore, is an opportunity to align with your Highest Self.
Eclipse Season
This year, we have an eclipse on Christmas! Eclipses are doorways that open and close like gates. They are amplifiers of energy - positive or negative. They show us what needs to leave and what should remain. Again, a very important time for setting intentions as they magnify, amplify, and reveal truths about our lives. This is a really great time to be listening and tuning within.
And so, the timing of this eclipse window, just after the Winter Solstice, begins on Christmas and lasts until the second eclipse of January 10th. Eclipses always come in pairs. This is when we have a three-week time of transition to attune and adjust ourselves and our frequencies to the treasures we want to bring through from beyond the beyond into the next 6-month cycle of our lives -- until the next series of eclipses.
It is said that eclipses are times where souls who want to be born and energies from source some to interface with our world to be manifested through us.
This is how to use the cycles consciously in our lives. At these turning points, it’s so important to take space to look within.
So the mission, if we choose to accept it -- is to bring our awareness inward, close to our hearts, and really be in conscious connection to all that is wanting to be brought through us -- amidst the pressures of family and holiday time, amidst the gatherings and shindigs of New Year’s celebrations -- and all the rowdy joy that comes with these gifts of family, celebration, and partying that happens only once a year around the entire world.
Celebrate consciously, with all your heartfelt intentions! Use this time to turn within and honor this transition, while maintaining a profound connection to your internal space. Find that truth and sweet place in your heart so fierce that you are able to quietly focus on what is being spoken by the universe to you during this window of transition, upon transition, upon transition.
These times are alchemical! They move through us like forces of nature especially -- because energetically, they are!
